国家植物航天育种工程技术研究中心在育种理论研究上取得重要进展

  在国家863计划、国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金及广东省高水平大学建设经费资助下,我校陈志强教授带领的国家植物航天育种工程技术研究中心(简称“中心”)研究团队在关注重大品种选育及产业化应用的同时,高度重视与育种紧密关联的产量、品质、抗性等农艺性状的遗传解析工作,并将理论研究与育种实践紧密结合,有效提升了水稻新品种选育效率。近年来,该中心利用航天搭载突变体材料、特异种质鉴定筛选,在品质、抗性等性状的分子机理研究工作上取得重要进展。

  “十三五”开局至今,该中心已发表SCI论文9篇。其中,在农林科学1区刊物《Rice》上发表了题为《High-resolution QTL mapping for grain appearance traits and co-localization of chalkiness-associated differentiallyexpressed candidate genes in rice》,该论文利用简化基因组测序和基因表达谱分析,精细定位了一批与水稻籽粒发育密切相关的QTL,并开发出相应分子标记应用于育种实践。除此以外,中心关于高通量基因分型技术、理想株型、稻瘟病抗性等相关研究工作先后发表在《Molecular Breeding》、《Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications》、《Plos One》、《Frontiers in Plant Science》等期刊上,所取得的研究成果有力促进了中心育种理论水平的提高,对加快水稻新品种培育具有重大的推动作用。此外,也有利支撑了华南农业大学高水平大学优势学科群的建设工作。(文/国家植物航天育种工程技术研究中心 王加峰)
